Welcome to YMCA London South West

Welcome to the Web Site of YMCA London South West ( formerly Kingston & Wimbledon YMCA) . We are a large and diverse community based organisation, working in South West London and Surrey, with a particular focus on young people.

Based at four main centres and operating from fourteen separate locations, we provide a range of services to our local communities, including supported housing; children's work; sports, health, exercise and fitness; youth work; residential care homes; catering services and conference facilities; short stay hostel accommodation and community programmes.

We have been serving the community for almost 135 years and have constantly evolved. In 2004 Kingston YMCA merged with Wimbledon & District YMCA to form Kingston & Wimbledon YMCA. By 2009, with several projects based in other Boroughs, our name no longer fitted, so we became YMCA London South West - the largest local YMCA in Europe!

We are an independent charitable organisation that is part of the world wide YMCA Movement, governed by a volunteer board of management with the following vision:-
